![]() Ah yes. It’s wonderful when life is so predictable. Those nice folks down in Arizona have taken yet another step toward the formation of the Fifth Reich. Republirat State Senator Russ (Buthead) Pierce liked the last step toward Nazidom so much that he’s advocating another. Not being content with making Arizona into a B war move cliche by having the gestapo . . . excuse me the police, ask anyone suspicious (read Hispanic) for their papers. Now the not so good Senator wants to fix it so children of illegal immigrants will not become citizens, even if they are born in the U.S. I have to admit that there are probably a good number of Native Americans who would like this idea if we made it retroactive a century or two. And maybe they’ll get their wish as it looks like the looney T Party fringe is taking up the idea. Candidate Ron, (let’s repeal the civil rights act) Paul loves it! Figures. But I’m sure Arizona won’t be content with this step. Next might come selling the kids instead of deporting them. After all there are Walmart sweat shops all over the globe looking for cheap and disposable labor. Or maybe, we will start to see some construction on . . . . ovens. Yep, you might see Arizona come up with a final solution, aka crematoriums. But wait, there is this big wall and on the other side of the wall is a desert in which people are baked to death. Looks like they’ve already taken this step. After all as Russ (Butthead) Pierce probably thinks, nothin’ says idiots votin’ like a Hispanic in the oven. Not funny you say? You’re absolutely right. No step Arizona, the T Party, or the Republirats take in getting rid of the Bill of Rights is funny at all. Now what was that poem written on the statue of liberty? Hmm. Sieg Heil, Arizona. Sieg Heil! Add Comment ![]() Long, long ago, in a house far, far away all things were governed by two political parties, the cats and the rats. For a long time, the rats held power. And since they held power they started to do ratty things. They began to steal things and started treating others badly. They got mad at the rats in another house and started a fight that sent the poor, both rats and cats and other animals, to die in a fight against the other house; a fight that almost seemed like a game to them. If someone objected they called them evil and sometimes threw them in a trap. The rats liked being in power and grew fat and sleek from all the things they gained by power. And then, something happened. All the other animals in the house began to notice the rats didn't seem to care about them. They rose up, voted the rats out of power. Soon the cats, who all the animals had elected, began to change things. "This is bad," the rats said. "If things get too good the animals will never vote us back in power again." So the rats began a campaign of tricks and lies. They told all the animals the cats were out to get them and that if the cats got their way the house would go to the dogs! Soon the more foolish of the animals began to believe the cats. They started to howl and growl about the things the cats were doing. They began to tear up all the food bowls in protest. Then they destroyed room after room. "We don't care," the rats said to themselves. "As long as we get back in power it's all right if a few things get damaged." Eventually the house was set on fire. But the rats still fought to rule the ashes. Unfortunately this is not a fairy tale. It is happening. The Republirats seem to have decided that it doesn't matter how much hate is inflamed. It does not matter what is destroyed. As long as they get back in power, the ends justify the means. A home grown terrorist has been arrested in a plot to bomb a Springfield, Illinois federal building. A federal census taker is found hanging by the neck. Gun sales are skyrocketing. Threats against an elected President abound. And the lies and the hatred continue to spew. The Republirat party does not care if this country is destroyed as long as they can rule the ashes. They profess to love our nation. They only love themselves. If we let them the United States of America can dissolve into a cycle of violence that will end this great nation. Don't let them win. Hey, there are sure a lot of interesting things going on in the world right now. In Iran we hear about riots over the results of their presidential election. It seems some Iranians claim the vote was rigged and the election stolen. There's a lot of concern about that election in the press. Now aren't you glad that can't happen here in the good old USA? Thanks W for making us in tune with the rest of the world. History is never going to forget how you got elected. And BTW, to our dear members of the press, how come you didn't get upset about that election? Politics of Hate 06/09/2009
Taking a look at the right wing media is a fascinating occupation these days. The more we move away from the hate filled politics of Bush/Cheney the louder they scream. The world's falling in. The President is going to annex us to Iran. Closing a center of torture will cause us terrorists to over run us. The volume of hate just gets louder and louder. Their noise bothers me so much that I just "unfollowed" a particular individual on Twitter today. I just couldn't take her deluge of right wing propaganda. | Custom Search PresbyCatSome humans might know me from my time at Ecunet. Others know me from other places.
