     Ah, California, a state that used to be home to innovation and sometimes to pretty nutty ideas, and now, is the home for right wing homophobes. How can it be that a state that gave birth to so many radical movements decided that gay and lesbian people had less rights than the rest of us? And why can't you keep your mind out of other people's bedrooms?

     But out of the State of Insanity has come an idea. If Californians want to protect marriage so badly that they ban marriage and civil unions for homosexuals, they can now take it one step further. Yes folks, if you're that keen on protecting marriage, ban divorce too. You now have the chance to do just that.  There is a petition drive to place a measure on the next California ballot banning divorce.      All in all folks, I think this is a great idea. Some of you might decide to wave Biblical proof texts and say this is a sin against God. If so, please remember, Jesus did not say squat about gays and lesbians but he had a whole lot to say about divorce!

     So jump in folks. Sign the petition to truly save marriage in California. Tell the right wing bigots if they want to force others to obey carefully selected bits of the Bible that they have to obey the whole thing!
